This Set’s Big Idea
Jesus calls His disciples to live with sincere devotion, undivided trust, generous love, humble discernment, and obedient faith.
As you read, watch how Jesus teaches about truthfulness, loving enemies, giving, prayer, fasting, treasure, worry, judging others, the narrow way, false teachers, and building life on His words.

This set continues and completes the Sermon on the Mount. Jesus moves from heart-level righteousness to everyday kingdom living. He teaches His followers to be people of integrity, love their enemies, practice spiritual disciplines for God rather than human praise, treasure what lasts, and trust the Father instead of living controlled by worry.
As you read Matthew 5–7, pay attention to how Jesus presses His disciples toward a faith that is both deeply inward and visibly obedient. He warns against hypocrisy, shallow judgment, false teachers, and empty claims of discipleship. The sermon ends with a clear invitation: hear Jesus’ words and put them into practice. These passages remind us that true disciples do not merely admire Jesus’ teaching; they build their lives on it.
