Sunday worship matters deeply. But spiritual maturity is cultivated as we walk with Jesus throughout the week—in our homes, relationships, decisions, and everyday rhythms.
The story behind the ministry
How MTSM Started
More Than Sunday Mornings grew out of a simple but weighty realization: the kind of disciple our churches long to see cannot be formed in a single weekly gathering.
As a pastor, I met many believers who genuinely wanted to grow but lacked a clear pathway and practical tools to help them begin. Information was abundant, yet formation often felt out of reach.
MTSM was created to bridge that gap with Scripture-first teaching, guided Bible-study resources, and practical discipleship tools that move people from inspiration toward transformation—and ultimately toward helping others follow Jesus.
Meet the founder
Hi, I’m Thomas.
I have served in part-time and full-time ministry since 2006, beginning in children’s and student ministry before transitioning to serve as senior pastor of Cornerstone Baptist Church in High Point, North Carolina.
I have a passion for helping people follow Jesus more faithfully by understanding His Word more clearly—as individuals, couples, families, small groups, and local churches.
Every MTSM resource is shaped by the real questions, struggles, and opportunities I encounter while serving people in the local church.
