Day 3: Removing Distractions

Devotional

Many times, the crowdedness of our lives keeps us from coming before Christ ourselves. We are often so busy and distracted that we neglect our time with God. It’s essential to identify and eliminate these distractions to focus on our relationship with Him. Quieting ourselves before the Lord is key to hearing His voice and understanding His will for our lives. For the friends to bring the man before Jesus, they had to come before Him also. By removing distractions, we create space for God to move and speak to us.

Bible Verse

‘Very early in the morning, while it was still dark, Jesus got up, left the house and went off to a solitary place, where he prayed.’ – Mark 1:35

Reflection Question

What distractions in your life are keeping you from spending quality time with God, and how can you remove them?

Quote from Sermon

Many times we allow the crowdedness of our life to keep us from coming before Christ ourselves.

Prayer

Lord, help me to identify and remove the distractions in my life that keep me from You. Teach me to quiet myself before You and to seek Your presence daily. Amen.
