Scripture Reading
Luke 5:15-16
Devotional
In Mark 2:1-12, we see four friends who exhibit unwavering faith and determination. They overcome a crowded room to lower their paralyzed friend to Jesus, seeking healing. Their actions are a powerful reminder that faith often requires action. These friends didn’t let obstacles deter them; instead, they found a way to bring their friend to Jesus. This teaches us that our faith should be active and persistent, especially when interceding for others. We must be willing to go the extra mile, overcoming any barriers that stand in our way.
Bible Verse
‘Seeing their faith, Jesus said to the paralyzed man, ‘My child, your sins are forgiven.” – Mark 2:5
Reflection Question
What obstacles are currently hindering your faith, and how can you actively overcome them to bring yourself or others closer to Jesus?
