The Shepherd’s Scripture Memory Plan is a 52-week journey designed to help you know, live, and speak God’s Word in everyday life and ministry.
- Memorize one verse each week
- Review daily (both new and past verses)
- Apply it in real conversations
You don’t need to be perfect—just be consistent. Over time, God’s Word will shape how you think, speak, and live.
How to Use This Plan
Weekly Rhythm
- Memorize one verse each week
- Read it out loud daily
- Practice saying it from memory
- Continue reviewing previous verses
Daily Practice
- Read the verse out loud 5 times
- Write it once
- Say it from memory
- Review 2–3 previous verses
Monthly Review
At the end of each month, take extra time to strengthen what you’ve learned. You will still memorize a new verse that week—just place additional focus on review.
- Review all verses from the current month
- Revisit 2–3 older verses
- Practice using at least one verse in a real-life situation
For Groups or Families
If you are using this plan with others, take a few minutes each week to recite the verse together and ask:

Choose a translation you read regularly (NLT, ESV, etc.), and stay consistent as you memorize.
The Gospel & Salvation
- Week 1 — Romans 3:23–24
Sin and justification by grace. - Week 2 — Romans 5:8
God’s love demonstrated through Christ. - Week 3 — Romans 6:23
