MTSM Foundational Matthew Commentary

MTSM Foundational Commentary

The Gospel of Matthew

Welcome. Matthew invites us to see Jesus as the promised King—Israel’s Messiah who fulfills the Scriptures, reveals the heart of the Father, and calls us into a life shaped by His kingdom.

This Foundational Commentary is meant to walk with you as you read. It isn’t here to replace Scripture or overwhelm you with details, but to help you slow down, see the big picture, and listen carefully to what God is saying.

Whether you’re reading on your own, studying with family, or preparing to lead others, my prayer is that this resource helps you know Jesus more clearly—and follow Him more faithfully.

How to Use This Commentary
